NSW: Police on hunt for 10,000 packets of missing Sudafed
New South Wales and Queensland police are on the hunt for more than 10,000 packets of
Sudafed worth $80,000 after a pallet of the cold and flu drug was stolen last month.
The Sudafed was one of 11 pallets of health supplies stolen either en route from a Sydney
pharmaceutical manufacturer to a Brisbane wholesaler or from a warehouse in the Queensland
capital between March 2 and 8.
Acting Sergeant PAUL CONNERY of NSW police says the 475,000 missing tablets, in 7,200
packets of Sudafed 30s and 2,880 packets of Sudafed 90s, may be offered in large quantities to
pharmacists or members of the public for a cheap price.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have been offered cheap Sudafed tablets to contact
them.
